“Human resources is used to describe both the people who work for a company or organization and the department responsible for managing resources related to employees. The term human resources was first coined in the 1960s when the value of labor relations began to garner attention and when notions such as motivation, organizational behavior, and selection assessments began to take shape.”

The Pink Jackalope is very different from a classic “external human resources department” who would provide a specific service to a specific company in order to train the employees of this company or comply with this company’s standards.

We “own” the employees. That’s a way to say that our employees may provide their competencies but the end users of those competencies are customers, not employers, and our employees may have several customers.

We don’t hire our employees. Our employees choose the Pink Jackalope because it creates a safe environment for them to work and develop their activities. They work like self-employed workers with all the benefits of employment and employment is a service we offer.

Our customers have a share with the responsibilities we carry, such security at work, break times, working hours. They are required to act like managers in order to maintain a safe environment, but other than that, other than being human, our customers are not required any paper work. They buy time from us and our employees provide their time on a “voluntary offer” basis. They work when they want, where they want and they are allowed to deny a service to a customer if they wish. Our data base is full of options where our customers can find the right people for their team.
